Faces behind RestPoll

New members in the spotlight during the AGM 2025

On the first day of the Annual Group Meeting in Barcelona, seventeen new members were welcomed to the project. They bring new ideas, energy, and expertise to our growing network of Living Labs across Europe.

Meet the new faces

  1. Catarina Siopa (ALU-FR, Postdoctoral researcher) – Task leader in Work Package 1, who gave a flash talk about the case study area network.
  2. Yasmine Blili (CIHEAM-IAMM, PhD student) – First-stage researcher focusing on Mediterranean agricultural systems and working on the bio-economic model in the different case study areas.
  3. Oksana Zarochentseva (CYFNU, Assistant professor) – Researcher working on a Living Lab in Ukraine to restore wild pollinator habitats and enhance habitat connectivity in the Chernivtsi region.
  4. Sean Birk Bek Craig (Aarhus University, PhD student) – First-stage researcher conducting fieldwork in a Living Lab on a small Danish island.
  5. Clàudia Ortiz (CREAF – CERCA, First-stage researcher) – Field and lab technician collecting monitoring data at the Living Lab in Spain.
  6. Konstantinos Minachilis (University of Thessaly, Postdoctoral researcher) – Researcher working within the Nestos Delta Living Lab in Greece collecting field data.
  7. Bernadett Zsinka (HUN-REN CER, PhD student) – Early career researcher helping with Living Lab organization, processing field data, and assisting with some of the additional tasks.
  8. Dóra Teplanszki (HUN-REN CER, First-stage researcher) – Early career researcher leading fieldwork with the Living Lab in Hungary.
  9. Fernanda Azevedo (Trinity College Dublin, PhD student) – Early career researcher involved in the Living Lab in Kildare, Ireland.
  10. François Calatayud (INRAE, First-stage researcher) – Entomologist and biologist working in the Living Lab in France.
  11. Lūcija Ceicāne (Baltic Studies Centre, First-stage researcher) – Researcher assisting with surveys and other tasks within the Living Lab in Latvia.
  12. Ildikó Arany (Bükki Nemzeti Park, Postdoctoral researcher) – Researcher working in the Living Lab in Hungary and supporting the national Nature Restoration Regulations.
  13. Zsanett Laufer (Bükki Nemzeti Park, project manager) – Project manager and financial coordinator contributing to biodiversity and habitat management research.
  14. Suzanne Trippelvitz (HVR) – Work Package 6 Leader involved in stakeholder engagement and knowledge exchange activities.
  15. Janique Koller (WBF, First-stage researcher) – Scientific collaborator for activities in the Living Lab in central Valais, Switzerland.
  16. William Morgan (University of Cambridge, Postdoctoral researcher) – Researcher working on the update and summary of the Conservation Evidence database.
  17. Annie Northfield (University of Cambridge, First-stage researcher) – Early career research working on the Somerset Living Lab in England.
